Fresh Water Pearl Baby Bracelet
 
This baby bracelet was hand tied using 14 silver colored fresh water pearls.  The baby bracelet is a one of a kind, hand tied original by Janelle Powell, one of Badali Jewelry's designers.  The lobster claw clasp and tag are silver colored.  Click Here to view a larger image. 

The infant bracelet measures 4" in length.  The fresh water pearls measures an average of 5.5 mm (just under 1/4")  to 6.7 mm (1/4") wide.  The pearl bracelet weighs approximately 3.5 grams.

Pearl is a birthstone for June and is thought to draw love, money and luck into the wearer's life.  It is also a protective gemstone and is thought to have connections with the moon.

The snake eating its own tail, or Ouroboros, has symbolized many things over the ages, but generally represents ideas of recreation of self, unity, and infinity. The ouroboros has been important in religious and mythological symbolism world wide.  The Ouroboros appeared in Ancient Norse mythology as Jörmungandr, one of the children of Loki, who grew so large that it could encircle the world and grasp its tail in its teeth.

The hoop style earring is available in sterling silver and 14k. gold.  The snake appears to be going through your ear.  The earring measures approximately 20.5 mm (13/16") in diameter and 5.4 mm (just under 1/4") wide at the snake's head.  The ouroboros weighs approximately 2 grams in sterling silver / 2.5 grams in 14k. gold.

The MU signet measures approximately 18.2 mm (just under 3/4") in diameter by 1.5 mm (1/16") thick.  The Miskatonic University Pins weigh approximately 3.5 grams and include a silver colored pin back.  The Miskatonic University Tie Tacks weigh approximately 3.6 grams and include silver colored tie tack backs.
