Moissanite - The Star Stone
When Frodo™
saw Galadriel's™ ring Nenya™ in the forest of Lorien™,
the stone glittered and shone like it held a star from the heavens.
A century ago, Nobel
Prize Winner Henri Moissan discovered minute quantities of a new mineral in an
ancient meteorite from the remote Diablo Canyon in Arizona. At its
essence was the potential for an absolutely shimmering brilliance, fire,
luster, and incredible hardness. Moissanite is more brilliant and has more
fire and luster than diamonds. It is also more durable than ruby,
sapphire, or emerald.
The love Elves have
for heavenly bodies inspired this option, what elf wouldn't want to own
their very own "star".
Moissanite is available is 1/2 ct. (5mm), 3/4 ct. (6mm), and 1 ct. (6.5 mm)
round stones.
All stones are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
